aight, i'm just going to say it, this page has not had a major update for about 5 months now, and even though im not a member of it, from what i can tell the subscribestar page is similarly quiet.
this silence is worrying, to say the least.
apologies for the impatience, but i needed to get this off my mind.
if the update releases within the next week, please disregard this entirely.
It's only been like 2 months lol but yeah I feel yeah. Can't rush good art right? But idk what "silence" there is?? Guess we could put out like a dev log or something, but then all it would be like, "sorry the art is slow" so idk if that really informs much. I'd love to get things out in a more set schedule, but can't promise that with how the team is set up. Feel free to point to this comment until next update comes out. Just don't want to show too much until it's ready to update ;)
This might sound crazy to you, but the devs have a life. They are human beings, not some mindless robots pumping out content endlessly, so please stop pressuring them further, your just going to make them not want to do it at all.
Because it'sextremely easy to install things on Android without parental consent and minors are more likely to have a phone for themselves than a PC.
Moreover, the devs need to get money, and the SubscribeStar might not be enough to pay an entire team of developers, artists, sound & level designers and VAs.

I know this is just a side hussle for you guys so its not really that important and i dont wanna be like these annoying ppl and beg for it to come out, but if you have any sort of estimated time for the release thatd be amazing, if not then thats okay. Keep up the good work hotpink

You're right. I don't expect constant updates so I don't know why you are making that assumption. They can however release the most up-to-date version for PC for those have paid on here. Instead of gating it subscribestar but still release the android version.

Being a programmer myself, having played with unity quite a bit, and always being held back by my own art based capacity(my hands can art, but my brains doesn't want to), and also being a man with a full time job, i know projects like these can take time and often times one needs to make time in order to work on your projects.
So it only makes sense that you want the project to make you some cash while you are working on it.
And its $5, I've seen devs charge way more for worse, atleast this game is playable with minor issues in 3 levels, thats already more than most can do.
Hotpink, don't let the nagging of people get to you, yes you takd long on updates, but atleast your trying.
Apologies for the impatience, but I don't think the "next update makes previous one free" plan is going to work in the long run, especially if situations like this happen to pop up again, due to people potentially losing interest the longer an update takes to release.
From what I understand, the initial plan was a monthly update schedule, but clearly that didn't work. (No offense)
As I said last time, it's ultimately up to you and the rest of the devs, but I strongly suggest considering a different approach to the free releases.
yall gotta remember they aint doing this full time this is pretty much a side hustle and on top of that its not easy and takes time to make these things and yall shouldnt have to wait much longer since they waiting on art from one of the members last i saw yall just got to be patient
I understand that making, well, just about anything takes time, but the gym update, which has been released to the Subscribestar for a while now, is (presumably) already fully complete, and while I don't claim to understand how itch.io works, I assume it would be easy to simply update the version given on here to the newest one available.
Just something to give those of us who don't have money to spare.

Meaning that if this current plan stays, one update will always be out of reach. This is without mentioning potential unforeseen delays in the future. Another thing is that while some do have money to spare, they might not approve of subscription services for one reason or another.
Again, I apologize for the impatience, and while my wording might seem hasty and/or rude, I just want to give some advice. Maybe an occasional devlog to let us know what's going on if something happens or otherwise doesn't go according to plan.
Will deff consider it when things out of our control push back updates. Like Annue's power went out or something and had to stay with family for a few weeks. So art stuff been behind, but are working on stuff elsewhere, just not stuff that's really able to be shown.
I appreciate the honesty, and I understand that unforeseen problems pop up occasionally. However, While I don't speak for everyone, I believe it would be widely appreciated if some news about what's going on, such as said unforeseen problems coming up, was given. Doesn't need to be about additions to the game, just let us know if something happens so we know to be patient for a bit longer.
Yeah we can deff get better at posting updates about delays. Know those suck, but guess better than no news. Don't want yall thinking anything is abandoned or lost interest from us!
