Leah Smith is a young, repressed woman who's just gotten the opportunity of a lifetime. A full ride scholarship at a Japanese university, halfway across the world from her quiet, backwater hometown. Though she intends to study diligently as she did her whole life, the sultry allure of freedom whispers in her ear. Away from the prying eyes of her old social circle, she meets people who bring with them a whole host of new possibilities. A mild-mannered young man she instantly crushes on, a sporty carefree tomboy, and a gang of hedonistic party animals who seem interested in recruiting her into their ranks. She knows she shouldn't. But out here, so far from home... where's the harm in a tiny bit of indulgence?
